Bred by Argos Hill Arabians

This gorgeous colt was effectively three weeks premature. Within one hour of his birth he had slipped into a coma and that traumatic night neither our vet or ourselves thought he would make it through. After being dripped and with continuous care, he showed us he had inherited all of his father's tenacity and energy for life, and proved us wrong.

Still too weak to get up, however, we put him on an air bed and turned him every hour, both day and night. Unable to regulate his body temperature, he was wrapped in blankets with hot water bottles and was under infra-red heat lamps. He was carried to his mother's milk where with assistance in standing he was able to suck. Throughout all of this interfering his beautiful mother was patient, kind and serene. Somehow knowing that he needed our help, she stood over us nuzzling our hair. It was so touching. Her sweet nature is extraordinary.

After an exhausting week of this intensive care, things started to look better and the day he stood on his own was quite overwhelming: once he had the legs mastered he delighted both himself and us by bucking around the stable and jumping back onto his bed! However further complications then set in and the next week was spent at Rossdales in Newmarket, where they also fell in love with our precious boy.

He has now made it through and is getting stronger every day. Thank God for our lucky stars!!
